Pasco and laboratory
New method for student is active use of PASCO sensors and Data Studio programme (support of research and technical education). Students learned to quantitatively analyse the results during chemical experiments (gas pressure, pH, ion contamination, turbidity, gas content in air or solution). The use of PASCO sensors in lessons, in experiments, in data analysis, in ecological issues. Teaching of how to work with Data Studio programme. It is important to undestand the development of graph when working with PASCO sensors and Data Studio programme, to analyse outcome values and units, to compare the results with calibrabrated curves, criticaly evaluate conclusions of measurement (analysis), explain results and work them in to records of measurements (synthesis).
If the teacher uses PASCO during lessons, he brings the students a quick connection between theory and practice, and studetns thus can better imagine a number of phenomena (analysis). Student learns how to switch PASCO sensor to apparatus, mechanical experiments, computer and data evaluation become a part of lesson.
